Great Ellingham Hall is a beautiful 15th century listed building set in 7 acres of moated grounds. All rooms are heavily beamed with many original features. The grounds are quiet and secluded, yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of the village with its shop and public house, serving lunch and evening meals. The Norfolk coast is within easy reach, as are the Broads, the city of Norwich and the local historic towns of Attleborough, Wymondham and Hingham. The hall provides an ideal base for a walking tour of the area. A full English breakfast is included using locally sourced produce (where possible). Afternoon tea and biscuits are provided in the grounds between 4-00 and 5-00 p.m. There is a large, comfortable drawing room where you can relax in the evenings. Unfortunately due to the age of the building Great Ellingham Hall is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Great Ellingham Hall is a non-smoking establishment.
